Susan Brenner, Operations Manager at Accent on Travel

I have been married for fifty-three years to the love of my life and best friend.

We are from Ohio and moved to Cherry Hill, NJ forty-seven years ago. We love the area as we are close to the beach, DC, Philly and New York City where we go often for Broadway plays, and of course, we travel there by train. We love to bike the Rails to Trails and snow ski at our home away from home, Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

What do you love about travel?

The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page....

This quote says it all. Traveling the world, experiencing different cultures, foods, wines, wildlife and people has been a passion of mine. It started when I was born. My father worked for the Pennsylvania RR and we traveled all over the country by train, thus my love of train travel. Then when my sister was graduating high school and a rep from the Wilma Boyd Travel School came to talk to my sister, it intrigued me, and we both attended the school. That was in 1974, and here I am, fifty years later, continuing my love of travel.

What has been your favorite trip?

This is a question that is asked of me constantly. Every destination is unique and after every trip, I say that was the best trip ever! My last trip we took was an African Safari. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. There are many others though, such as Israel, heli-hiking in the Canadian Rockies, many countries in Europe, Hawaii, cruising and traveling our own beautiful country, the United States of America.
